Okay so you have some nice furniture pieces, paint colors dialed in and some art up...what's missing? I know it may seem like accessorizing and styling your home is for those without children or for those who live in a museum but I totally disagree! That said, if you have kiddos that love grabbing and smashing anything and everything in-sight maybe some of this can wait until they are a bit older. None-the-less I really enjoy a space with those extra little touches. I feel it adds to the charm, individualizes the home and makes it "yours". If you have young ones that like to touch...perhaps scrap the breakables with kid friendly items, next to a container with succulents or flowers for the same look. Layering is so important to create that curated feeling. So be proud of those random family heirlooms (at least some of them) and embrace some of those one of a kind pieces you found on vacation and find a place in your home for them to live! It's all about the mix!
